"To understand the subjects is the key of studying."
Self Description
I scored A1 for my Math in my SRP(PMR) and SPM. I started being a part-time tutor when I was 17(Form 4), teaching Form 3 students. To explain the questions, to analyze the chapter is the most important thing for Mathematic. E.g. 1+1=2, we have to understand why the answer is 2, NOT to remember the answer. If we could understand why is it 2, then we have no problem to solve any other questions in the same subject matter. For short, Mathematic is only either you understand or you don't understand, once you are understood, you will be able to finish the question even without formula. Not like history or science, you have to remember everything. Therefore, all I have to do is to explain everything to my student, make sure they understand first only come to formulas. This is the most effective way of learning Math.
Proven Track Record
When I was 19, I help 18 Form 5 students to score A in their Math. At that time I had only 20 Form 5 students. The other 2 had Credit. Sorry I couldn't remember their name but 1 of them is my cousin sister Chan Chun Moi. She failed her Form 4 Math tests all the time when she joined. After a few months, she had a spectacularly improvements and even introduce 8 of her friends to join the group. They all learned happily together and all of them scored A1 and A2 for their SPM.
Achievement
When I was 13, my mathematic was already very outstanding. My teacher even asked me to help my classmate. When I was 15 (Form 2), I was able to finish the SRP Math paper. 17 (Form 4) can finish the SPM paper. Basically, during my school time, my teacher will always ask me to help to teach my classmate after school. That’s how my tuition class was started. And I love to share and teaching people.
