Self Description
            I have just graduated from Hwa Chong Institution (formerly known as the Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College) and am now awaiting my A level results. I have studied in Singapore since age 13 after obtaining the ASEAN scholarship at primary 6 level while I was studying at S.J.K (c) Foon Yew 1. My ambition is to become a doctor and I have always had a burning desire to help others. Thus, with all my free time, I have decided to go into part-time teaching to help other students get good results, and at the same time earn some pocket money for future university studies. I am effectively bilingual being fluent in both chinese and english, and a good understanding of malay too. However, due to the lack of opportunities in Singapore to speak malay, my use of the language is a bit rusty and thus I will not be able to converse effectively in malay. I am from the Science Talent Programme in my school and hence will be able to effectively teach biology and chemistry subjects up to A level standard. I am highly confident of my english language proficiency and thus will also be able to give guidance on the subject up to A level standard. Furthermore, I have a grade 8 distinction in piano in the ABRSM syllabus and will also teach piano.
