Self Description
            MY LANGUAGE BACKGROUND I am a translator (English to Chinese and vice versa) for more than 5 years of experience. Portfolio that I have completed thus far included public listed companies' websites, corporate brochure, Hyundai advertisement, press release, drama subtitles etc. MY TEACHING BACKGROUND I started teaching part time after I have completed SPM. To date I have had about 10 years of teaching experience. WHY CHOOSE A BILINGUAL TUTOR IS IMPORTANT? Due to my working experience in the past, I'm well verse in both English and Mandarin or Cantonese, thus if necessary, I am able to explain in student's mother tongue to help them understand better. LESSON FORMAT I will first clarify with students or parents what's their aim in taking classes with me, and then test out the student's language proficiency before class commerce through a test, aural speaking and reading. From there I will customize a study plan for the student and coach him according to his weaknesses. CLASS STRUCTURE Either one to one or group tuition of maximum 3 students. CLASS CONTENT English Lesson or Chinese Lessons: Grammar, Vocabs, Essay, Public Speaking, register for students to attend public speaking competitions. TRAVEL AREA Cheras, Ampang, Bangsar, KL. Other Klang Valley areas will be considered.
Proven Track Record
            Lee Kah Chen (Standard 4) from Taman Connaught, he scored about 50% for his mathematics before having class with me, few months later he scored more than 80%.
