Self Description
I am teaching English part-time at an English centre, and I have 50 hours of experience so far and counting. I would like to increase that amount, and I am also looking for other students. I am relatively young, but I have always had the desire to teach others, and I welcome any opportunity to add to my store of experience. I constantly look for ways to improve my teaching methods. Both my parents have been teachers, and that leaves me in a favourable position to study their technique and learn from their examples. I am passionate about the English language, and I emphasize accuracy in grammar. I have written a number of articles for the New Straits Times, one of the most widely read English newspapers in our country. I am willing to learn, and to improve myself, and I consider it a great privilege to be able to teach and impart knowledge to others.
Proven Track Record

Achievement
I obtained straight As in my SPM: 8A+, 1A, 1A-. An article that I wrote for the New Straits Times' weekly pull-out, Niexter, was chosen as one of the best articles of 2009 and 2010. I also was a consolation prize winner in the international essay writing competition organized by Scholastic in 2010. In the New Straits Times' Young Writers' Awards 2011, I won the awards for Best Sport Story and Best Feature Story.
