Self Description
            My teaching approach is gentle but firm. I do not believe in canning, but I do not deny that the carrot-and-stick approach is considerably effective at certain circumstances. I believe in building strong foundation, rather than giving students intensive or rather "touch-n-go" lessons. I have taught 3 students so far. My teaching has always been 1-to-1. One of my students was from a minor race but enrolled into Chinese Primary School - Standard 1. Both the parents do not speak and/or write mandarin. The student could not get the necessary teaching at home and he can hardly practise mandarin at his home compound. With my dedication (and of course a lot of self-study and self-practice by the student himself), he imrpoved. At least, he was not at the bottom in his class. He learnt to use the Chinese dictionary. He learnt to speak Mandarin confidently and fluently.

Achievement
           I graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I was awarded full-quantum of KDU Merit Scholarship for my final year studies. I won the book prize award during convocation.
