Self Description	I gave tuition to children from preschool to Form 5 from 1985 - 1997, specialised in teaching the English Language especially Phonics to preschoolers and to the Chinese medium students from Standard 1 to Form 3. I taught (for all subjects)using mind maps which is a proven method in getting the lessons across. I am now a mother to a four year old who will be starting preschool in 2008 and as such I would be able to teach again.
Proven Track Record	Most of my students were from Chinese medium schools who spoke the various Chinese dialects at home and whose parents were very grateful to me for having helped their children improved to the extent they were not afraid to speak in English nor Malay, besides improving in the other subjects. My greatest joy was in coaching a 6 year old boy who could not do simple additions when I first met him. After 2 to 3 weeks with lots of homework, he came to me asking for more homework and with multiplication to the thousands.
Achievement	I graduate with Third Class honours for LLB in 1998.
