Self Description
            I have a B.Engineering (Hons.) in Electronics Engineering majoring in Computer from Multimedia University (MMU). I am also currently pursuing my Masters in Engineering Science at MMU. I teach Engineering undergraduates at MMU in subjects concerning Electronics Engineering (generally related to Physics and Maths). Before we start, I like to establish a friendship with my students so that they will be at ease around me and not hesitate to ask questions. This is also so that I will be able to determine their current command of the subject. I like to teach in English so that students will be able to practise their language skills, but if they’re uncomfortable with that, then Cantonese or Malay is also fine. I encourage students to do a lot of exercise, especially in Maths, so a workbook will be necessary. I can teach from any reference and/or text book that they currently own, but will also recommend others which I find suitable. Everybody has a different learning pace, so I will teach according to their individual needs. I like to make sure that they have a complete understanding of the topic at hand before moving on to the next. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree as well, so I know well that the learning process never stops. One should not study simply to pass exams as this attitude will not bode well past secondary school. I always encourage my students to do the best that they can as I truly believe that they are capable of so much more.
