Self Description
            I believe that learning is more effectively done through understanding. To achieve that, I prefer a more flexible and application based approach that pays attention to each student's learning style, as it helps the student grasp knowledge more firmly than if they were forced to memorise for a short term period. In learning a language, I believe speaking is equally as important as writing, but is often overlooked as it is assumed that if you know how to write, you know how to speak or vice versa. creative actitivities such as spelling games and role play can encourage confidence in the language and make learning fun (it would be an additional advantage on top of regular school curriculum) Business/Adult English: My training and experience in public speaking, professional writing and knowledge of business/corporate/law settings enables me to better understand business needs.

           University: LLB law degree from University of Sheffield, and have taken the Bar Vocational Course in City University, London. Pre-University: Cambridge A Levels - Law, Economics and English Literature. International English Language Test System (IELTS), score - band 8.0 out of band 9.0. During my school years, I actively took part and represented my school at district levels for public speaking, debate and choral speaking. At my previous job, I worked as a writer for Star Publications Sdn Bhd.
