Self Description
It has been 9 years since I started giving personal tution. It has been my passion to teach, and I have never been hesitant in teaching, ever since my school days, up to graduation and even at work today. Technical stuff interests me, and I find that it is easy to explain something technical, compare to something that are not technical. Therefore, most of my teaching experiences revolves around engineering and computing subjects, as well as science subjects. I do teach languages, but I do not find them as interesting as other technical subjects. However, it is my belief that no matter how good a tutor may be, it is the responsibility of the student to put in effort to do their revision. As much as i can coach and guide, self study is imperative. As I teach, I would always explain to students how to understand and look at the subject from an objective manner, rather than memorizing the facts. Once they understand the subject, all the need is practice and they are sure to score. As long as they do not understand, no matter how much they practice, it is still going to be a nightmare, when the exam comes. So, my firm belief is - STUDY SMART!
Proven Track Record
In my pass 9 years of teaching, there are numerous cases (more than 10 of my students) where my students actually got A for the subjects that I taught, from their previous 'Failed' results. Though I do take pride that my students got A for those subjects, I attribute most of the success to be their own effort. All I did was to provide proper coaching and guidance. To do well, it all depends on the students' own effort.
