Self Description
            I started teaching in 1976. In 1983 I left for UK to further my studies. Upon returning in 1984, I was posted to a secondary school. After 2 years, I was appointed head of the English Department. I then became a PMR English examiner and SPM English chief examiner. I left the teaching profession in 1994 and joined the New Straits Times as a sub-editor. Until recently, I was chief sub-editor of The Malay Mail.
Proven Track Record
            Despite teaching in rural secondary schools (Sepang), I produced distinctions among my students in my time there.
Achievement
           I was appointed to work on the recent coffee table book "The Majestic History of the Malaysian Monarchy" which was launched by the King in February 2011
