Self Description
            I have been teaching for more than 40 years now. I always try to win the student over by arousing her or his interest in studies. Half the battle is won if the student wants to learn. However, whatever I teach must be practised by the student and that's where the parent plays her or his part.They have to make sure that the child is doing their work. If this condition is not met then no amount of teaching by a teacher will produce good results. I don't believe in overburdening the child with homework. That only causes them to develop an aversion for studies. Furthermore, they would just give up if it becomes an uphill task. A child should not be scolded into getting them to do their studying. That would create negative feelings in the child for the learning process. Instead they should be coaxed into it, if it comes to that. When they are in Primary school, they have a natural interest in wanting to study, if other factors are in place, of course. This interest may wane when they are drawn to more exciting things that attract their attention. That's where a good teacher comes in to awaken or create a desire in the child for wanting to excel in their education.
Proven Track Record
            I have helped children for the past 40 years to obtain excellent results in examinations. More often than not I get students from the same family because of the trust they have in me and my methods. My pleasure, each year, is to display the names of the children who have excelled in the examinations on the notice board of my tuition centre in a manner that really pleases them and makes them proud of their achievement. Moreover it acts as an incentive to perform as well as they are capable of.
