Self Description
I have been teaching English Language to young learners from age 5 to 13 years for 8 years on home tuition base and part time in private tuition centres. I have completed a course Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages) and Business Studies and I enjoy teaching young learners to speak,read and write good English. I have worked in Multi-national companies as Senior Secretary and Administrator for more than 20 years and I also teach business communication English to working adults. My teaching method is very personalised according to the language competency level of each child and I specially prepare my own lesson plans to make it as interesting and captivating so children will enjoy learning new vocabulary and understand the use of grammar from every lesson I taught. All study materials for each of my students are very personalised. The concept of usage of English words are explained in malay medium to students so that they fully understand the methodology of the English Language in every day use. Students will also be guided on an educational trip arranged from time to time and they have to do an essay writing and presentation afterwards. This will enable students to be able to learn to write essay and relate what they have learned from the trip. Every month, I will update parents on the child's performance and advise them how to improve their weakness if any. I also provide intensive reading comprehension classes, pronunciation, essay writing skills to students and homework guidance upon parents' request. By the end of the English programme, students will know how to speak, read and write good English and do presentations as well. .
