Self Description I have been tutoring for the last three years.Before this, I was in the Civil Service for 33 long years! I have since retired. I have been a trainer for youth leaders as well as government officers. I have spoken in international and national seminars. I love training and teaching! I teach with unbridled passion as only a devoted teacher can and will, with a heart dedicated to the students in order to bring up the students' oral and written skills to world class standards. I am focussed in teaching English via the eclectic approach so that my students will get the best results in their exams. I also employ Darthmouth University's Professor Rassias' dynamic method to teach English which was a runaway success in the teaching of American Peace Corps. I obtained a distinction in English Grammar in my TESOL specialisation exam and am fully equipped to do tutoring and Adult English teaching. As we all know, grammar is the foundation and bedrock for any worthwhile student who wants to excel in English.Without a firm grasp of English grammar,a student will always be weak in writing as he will be poor in sentence construction and his errors will be fossilised in due time! I have been teaching one-on-one and small groups.Currently I teach Students from Std 4 to Forms 2. I taught a Form 4 student last year. As the UPSR,PMR,SPM exams approach, I will phase in tutoring in exam-format style so that students will be familiar with exam formats and questions and ready to score an A in the English paper! I am currently employed to write an English Foundation Course Module for a new University College of Hospitality in KL. Apart from that, I am tutoring at PT Kurnia in Aman Suria,PJ.

I taught Forms 1 to Form 6 at All Saints School in Likas, Kota Kinabalu,Sabah. I have also done relief-teaching for Forms 3, 4 and 5 at PT Kurnia. On top of that, I have also been privileged to assist in running a few TESOL courses for Global TESOL in PJ. I am currently employed to write an English Foundation Course Module for a new University College of Hospitality in KL. Apart from that, I am tutoring at PT Kurnia in Aman Suria,PJ.
