Self Description I have been giving tuition for the past 2years, usually I take in primary & lower secondary sch kids. I did my primary sch in Foon Yew2,secondary sch in Foon Yew High School and now doing degree in SIM University,Singapore. I love seeing kids having academic improvement under my teaching, esp in certain subject like Maths. The sense of achievement is undescribable. I used to teach P5 boy Maths. He is from single parent family, his grade has improved from fail to B. And in his UPSR, he got B for Maths.I'm still teaching him now,secondary 1 i believe that practice make perfect,so i would encourage them to practice more on Maths problem so that they get to figure out their weak point. On the first lesson,normally i will get to know more about the kid,to find out what can i help,to give the basic idea of the subject or give help to achieve better result in school exams. i will go through all over again with poor understanding student as i believe to build up the concept is very important.and slowly i will see the improvement and see what can i do for the next. Teaching tuition not only gain me extra pocket money, I find myself becoming a more patient person especially when I am dealing with rebellious students. I hope to get my first assignment with you guys. Thank you
Proven Track Record I've helped a girl to pass her SPM English in 2010,she know nothing much about the literature,so i go through all the stories& poems with her. Wong Hui Peng , Taman Pelangi,Johor Bahru Another 3 students from Foon Yew 1 score A for their maths and english in UPSR in yr 2010 Lim Shin Yan, Taman Johor Jaya Chong Siau Pin, Permas Jaya Yow Ai Ling, Johor Jaya SETA girl,Kok Tse Tyng scored A aft me giving her 9months tuition for math in 2009 for PMR,and i'm still giving her maths tuition for coming SPM
Achievement I was a student from Independent School,Foon Yew High School,so to sit for government exam or not were our own choice.just to let u know that the PMR & SPM results can't really reflect my strong & weaknessess as we were not familiar with the syllabus on that time PMR : 3A(chinese,maths,english) 1c(sejarah) 2B(geography & science) SPM : 3A2( english,maths,chinese) 1119 english b4, add maths c5 we don't do complete numbers of subjects as kebangsaan school require,we only select the subjects we wanted to do i'm currently doing my yr2 degree in Singapore,but i used to travel in and out everyday so i can still give tuition thanks
