Self Description I am a teacher now because I wanted to teach. I have always explored methods and ideas on how to present a certain topic. The factors I usually consider when choosing the method is the age group, the learning time and the subject taught. Example when I am starting a new unit in science, I always search internet and study appropriate materials in order to create the introduction set. Humourus is an element I always put in the middle of teaching. Beside finding suitable introduction set in starting a new unit, I like to show daily life examples that is similar to the topic learnt which will make students understand in a easier way. My way of teaching is, I prepare lesson plan, exercises to give and time managment one week before the lesson. So I have ample of time to review back what I am going to present to the students and to have my colleuge or boss to evaluate my method. This will produce better lesson plan and I could present best teaching to my students. I normally use different approach when teaching students from different age group. For younger students, I like to do role playing for all subject. Example for mathematics, the students can act a play like a shopkeeper and a buyer so that they lern to count. And for history subject, the students can act out the situation with appropriate costumes. Well these are some of the methods that I use. There are more which I learnt throughout teaching. Achievement I was the top student for mathematic and additional mathematics in my school. I had represented Negeri Sembilan state for national level multiquiz in 1990.
