Self Description I'm a dedicated student. Being a strong believer in education, I always strive for the best in my studies, as proven by my excellent results throughout the years. I was awarded full scholarship by SinChew Daily to acquire my 3+0 RMIT Business degree studies (majoring in Accountancy) in Metropolitan College. Foundation is very important. The first 6 years of my studies have left a huge impact on my attitute and values. Graduated from SJK(C)Lick Hung, the most competitive Chinese primary school in Subang Jaya, has provided me with good foundation of Mandarin and Mathematics. I have to be competitive to other students to remain as one of the top students in class. I may be young, yet I believe that it is an advantage. As a student myself, I understand well on what a student wants, the teaching method a teacher should have, especially. I strongly believe that the study environment should be rather relaxing for a student to be able to absorb the knowledge. The students have already been tensed up and tired from gaining knowledge at school, therefore, a tuition must be something different from schools and lively enough to catch their attention instead of letting them dozing off. Most importantly, a teacher must also befriend with the students, to gain their respect and trust, and of course, friendship. This is where I believe that my age is an advantage - smaller age gap, where I can play the role as a teacher, a role model, a friend, and of course, a big sister.
Proven Track Record I am currently a Mandarin tutor to a 6-year-old. I may not have much experience in teaching. However, I have been assisting my coursemates in their studies. They usually come to me whenever there are something which they do not understand. Then, I will guide them step by step patiently.
